After years of development, we have finally managed to finish the game story and remove the Early Access sticker of the game.
We have added a new Mover Tool for moving existing blocks and prepared the game for more tools needed by the story. We have also added a Thermoregulator block for fighting with enhanced weather.
We have added new Free Roam mode, some new weather types, better visuals of survival attributes and much more improvements, bugfixes and optimizations.
The release 0.9.6 brings next wave of performance optimizations and bug fixes. Faster terrain rendering, eliminated holes and fluent conveyor recalculations are just a few examples of our progress.
Vehicles are one of the cornerstones of the nomading gameplay and we want to make them easily controllable. In 0.9.4 we have added possibility to use the Terminal from the Cockpit and other improvements will follow.
Using Steam Workshop feature, we were able to add possibility of sharing your creations with other players in 0.9.2 release. Since this release we finally have a stable builds using most recent Unity 2018 engine.
Singleplayer game needs a good story. And game complex like ours needs a good tutorial. We started working on both with 0.9 release and continue improving it at least util the end of the 2018. We want the game to be easy to understand and deep to immerse in.
Big change in Hot Bars functionality. No longer we have different hot bars for different part of the game. You have full freedom in what you put where. We have already added a possibility to have up to 10 Hot Bars.
Fundamental changes in how Build Vision is used like filtering and some other tweaks in building.
Newly introduced block in 0.8.8 release – Conveyor Connector not only allows you to interconnect separate grids but also to transfer resources between bases and moving vehicles.
